BAC Los Angeles was founded in early 2016. Headed by Jackie Balmanoukian, the office strives to create beautiful spaces as well as conscious and thoughtful environments.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and is a licensed Architect. Jaclyn spent her formative years as an Architect and Designer working for Marmol Radziner Architects. There, she was fortunate enough to work on award winning projects for Clients such as Tom Ford and James Perse. Following her tenure at Marmol Radziner, Jackie was offered the oppertunity to go in house for James Perse and served as the Director of Architecture for James Perse Enterprises for the next 6 years. There, she designed and/or oversaw over 3 dozen projects, which included the brand’s global expansion, 2 office headquarters and several personal residences.
BAC Los Angeles was founded out of a need to continue the work closer to home and independent of one brand or client. At BAC Los Angeles, we like to collaborate, whether it be with our Clients, our Partners, our Consultants or Contractors. We believe that collaboration makes for better, more well informed design, a more harmonious process and better end results. We also like to simplify. We aim for a straightforward, simple approach, ensuring not only beautiful, well documented designs, but well ordered processes, from start to finish.
